Terms of Service

Applicability

Please read these terms carefully before ordering.
These Terms of Service (“Terms of Service”) apply to Rise website "Risestore.com", "Risestore.co.uk", "Risestore.jp", "Risestore.au", "Rise.ca", "Risegymgear.com" and any other subdomain or Point of Sale owned by Rise hereinafter is a reference to “Rise”. Any reference to "you", "the user", "the customer","your" and "yourself" is in reference to you as an individual who has a relationship with Rise by acquiring Rise Products, interacting with Rise Services or by being in contact with Rise digital experience, social media platform, mobile app, devices, or any other Rise Products or Services, all of which are part of  Rise’s Platform (“Platform”).
These Terms of Service create a legally binding agreement between you and Rise and its affiliates.
 

Placing an Order

Availability

Adding an item to your cart does not reserve the stock for your final checkout. The product is only allocated to your order once the payment has been captured.
Please verify your shipping information and order details before placing your order. After your order is placed, we may not be able to make changes to your order. If you forget an item, please place another order.
 

Out of stock

Please be advised, receiving a “purchase order” via email indicating the items selected, does NOT guarantee all items will be in stock. We will email you if the product you ordered is not available and provide you with an estimated restocking date/shipment date or refund the item before shipping your order.
 

Pre-order

Restocking dates listed on the product page are only estimates. While we strive to meet these timelines, we cannot control additional shipping delays or logistical issues beyond our control.

Product Descriptions, Colors, Details, and Packaging:

The colors, details (such as logo placement), and packaging of our products may vary slightly from the images, videos, 3D renderings, or sketches shown. These visuals are for illustrative purposes only. While we aim to depict colors and logo placements as accurately as possible, we cannot guarantee how they will appear on your device. Additionally, variations in logo placement, fabric color, and other details may occur due to differences in production batches and timing, so the actual product may not match the images exactly.

Our Rights to reject or cancel your order

We have the express right, at our discretion, to limit, reject, restrict, refuse, or cancel any Order placed by you, either in part or in full, at any time, without prior notice or liability for damages, except for the refund of any funds received from such Order. This may result under certain circumstances, including but not limited to if:

  • for suspicious activities or our security systems identify your Order or account as unusual or at risk of fraud, abuse of discounts, or misuse, particularly in relation to credit card transactions;
  • if the provided address, payment method, or billing details cannot be verified, are incorrect, or we cannot deliver to a set address;
  • if your purchase history, activities, or related accounts display a high rate of exchanges, returns, or suspicious purchase activity;
  • if the Product(s) you wish to buy is out of stock, unavailable, incorrectly priced, or inaccurately described;
  • if we determine that you are not eligible to make purchases or use a discount code, or if you are not authorized to apply a discount or promotional code to your purchase;
  • if your Order surpasses set limits for quantity or total amount of the Product(s);
  • if we suspect that you are ordering Product(s) for purposes such as resale, tax avoidance, or other fraudulent activities;
  • if you are engaged in an open or closed dispute with Rise;
  • if you have previously violated the conditions or terms outlined in the Terms of Use, including these Terms of Sale; or
  • due to circumstances outside our control. 

Cancel or Change your Order

We can't guarantee we can make changes or cancel your order after it's submitted. We will do our best to make the changes only if your order has not been shipped yet. Otherwise, you will have to wait until you receive your order and proceed to an exchange. Rise will be here to assist you but won’t be responsible for any additional shipping fees or lost packages due to a mistake in the mailing address.

Pricing, Discount Code and Price Reductions/Promotions/Corrections

  • Pricing & Promotions:
    • Rise reserves the right to change prices for products displayed on Rise websites or at Point of Sale owned by Rise at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur. 
    • Rise reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue our Service and Products (or any part of the content thereof) without notice at any time. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modifications, price changes, suspension or terminations.
  • Any order placed before the beginning of a sale will not be subject to further discounts or retroactive discounts/credits.
  • Offers may not be combined with any other sale, promotion, discount, code, coupon and/or offer.
  • Discount codes are valid for a limited time only. Rise reserves the right to modify or cancel them at any time.
  • Product prices already reflect discounts.
  • All offers are limited to stock on hand.
  • Purchasing gift cards does not count towards reaching the minimum spending required for free shipping or specific promotions, which are 
    unlocked by spending a certain amount.
  • All items offered at a discounted price can only be exchanged or credited as store credit. Please refer to our Return Policy for more details.

Gift Cards ("Prepaid Card/eGift Cards")

  • Purchasing:
    • Gift Cards have no value until activated. Rise reserves the right to suspend or delay activation until payment has been cleared.
    • Gift Cards purchased cannot be canceled, returned or refunded under any circumstances. 
  • Redemption and Balance:
    • When you use the Gift Card, the purchase amount is deducted from the card's balance, which decreases with each transaction until it reaches zero. You must have enough funds on the Gift Card to cover the purchase or pay the difference with another payment method.
    • To keep track of Gift Card balance, log in to your Rise Account or contact our support team for information about your Gift Cards and any associated balance.
    • Once your order has been submitted and paid with your Gift Card, you are responsible for any such transaction. Rise reserves the right to refuse or limit the use of a Gift Card if there is reason to suspect that the use is unauthorized, fraudulent, or otherwise illegal.
  • Gift Cards and Discounts:
    • When a discount code is applied at checkout, it does not apply to the purchase of Gift Cards. If your order includes other items in addition to the Gift Card, the discount will be applied to those items only. 
  • Returns:
    • For orders paid using a combination of Gift Card(s) and another payment method, refunds will be applied to the Gift Card(s) first. Any remaining balance will be refunded to the other payment method originally used.
  • Risk of loss:
    • Issuer and Rise are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from lost or stolen Gift Cards or content codes, or from their unauthorized use. For content codes distributed by Rise, the risk of loss and ownership transfer to the recipient upon physical or electronic delivery. Please note that the recipient may not always be the original purchaser.
  • Restrictions:
    • Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund, exchanged, resold, or used to purchase other Gift Cards. Unused balances associated with Gift Cards are not transferable.
    • Gift Cards purchases will not be eligible to earn additional spending-based rewards.
    • Gift Cards are only valid for the store where they were issued and they cannot be transferred to other stores. For example, a Gift Card purchased or issued on our Canadian store can only be used on that store.
    • Gift Cards cannot be used as payment for orders placed for commercial purposes (i.e., sourcing inventory online). You are not permitted to Use Gift Cards to fulfill sales or fund purchases with the intent of reselling or exporting the goods or services.

Promotional Credit, Credit/Gift Cards issued ("Issued Credit")

From time to time, we may issue a one-time store credit, special code, a Gift Card or an eGift Card to be used towards the purchase of merchandise.

  • Returns:
    • When applicable, return of merchandise purchased with an Issued Credit will only be credited to the Issued Credit.
  • Limitations:
    • Issued Credit are not redeemable for cash or gift cards and will not earn additional spending-based rewards.
    • Issued Credit will expire by default two years after the date of issue.  Please note we may set a different expiration date based on the offer.
       If the expiration date is different from the default expiration prescribed above, we will disclose it to you. After expiry, any remaining balance will not be returned to you.
    • You may check the balance remaining and the expiry date of an Issued Credit on your Rise Account or by contacting our Rise Support. 
    • Rise is not responsible for lost, stolen or cards used without permission. Protect Issued Credit like cash. 
    • Rise reserves the right to cancel, amend or reduce the Issued Credit at any time.
    • Rise reserves the right to change these Issued Credit Terms at any time without notice.

Currencies

Canada

People from Canada can also order at our US/International store. If so, they will be charged in USD, and we can’t refund or change the currency after an order is shipped.
 

Orders outside of Canada

We offer a currency converter on our website if your local currency is not available on Rise's website.
*Prices on all our websites are similar or equal, so everyone gets our products at a fair price.
 

Additional Charges

If you’re shopping from outside Canada or the U.S., most of the time you won't have additional transaction fees by your bank, but there’s a slight chance you could be charged an International Banking fee by your bank. Unfortunately, we don't control this and you will need to contact your bank to verify if such charges can occur.

Shipping & Processing Time

Shipping Confirmation

We will notify you by email when your package has been processed and shipped. If you signed up for SMS notification, we will also notify you by SMS.
Note that in certain cases, multiple items may ship separately. In these situations, no additional shipping fees will be applied.
You can view your order status from the link provided with your confirmation of shipment or by login to your account at https://www.rise.ca/account/login
If you didn’t choose a traceable option, you cannot track your order and the number you received is only a confirmation that your order was shipped.
 

Additional charges, customs & Duties

You will be responsible for any customs duties or additional charges related to your order. These fees are not included in the delivery costs.
Taxes & Customs & Duties are charged by your country’s authorities and the taxes are solely determined by them. They will vary on the value of the package and the item(s) bought.
Please refer to your country’s customs for a further approximation of the cost.
 

We are not responsible for delays outside our control

If a delivery is delayed by an event outside our control (postal/courier delays, logistics issue, bad weather).
If you need further assistance, please contact us. We will do our best to assist you.
 

Our responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged package

Rise is not responsible for items damaged, stolen, or lost during transit.
Any claims should be filed directly with the respective carrier. If the carrier cannot resolve the issue, please contact our support team for further assitance.


Rise will not issue refunds, replacements, or compensation for such cases.

 

Mistake in a Shipping address

If you have just ordered and have mistakenly entered the wrong size, colour or forgot to mention your apartment number/p.o box in your address, please contact us at https://www.risestore.com/contact as soon as possible.
We can't guarantee we can make the changes or cancel your order, but we will do our best to make the changes only if your order has not been shipped yet. Otherwise, you will have to wait until you receive your order and proceed to an exchange. Rise will be here to assist you, but isn't responsible for any additional shipping fees or lost package(s) due to a mistake in the mailing address.
 

Return to sender, Refusing a package, Wrong Address, Missing Information

If you refuse a package, entered the wrong delivery address or there was an issue at delivery, your package will be sent back to us. When this happens, Rise has to pay an additional shipping fees to recover your package. If we don't pay this recovery fee, your package will be abandoned and destroyed by the carrier. You are responsible for such fees, and these fees are not refundable.
If a package is sent back to us by the postal service for any given reason, you are responsible for all additional shipping & handling fees charged by the carrier. We will contact you and confirm the fees and information before we send the package back to you.
If after 60 days, we’ve notified you, and we haven’t heard back, your products will be put back in stock and will be refunded via a store credit expiring in 120 days from the issued date. The store credit will be minus all fees mentioned above. If the items are on Final Sale or are discontinued, we can’t issue a store credit.
 

Exchanges & Returns

Returns Policy

  • You have 30 days from the order date to exchange or return your items. If 30 days have gone since your purchase, we can't offer you a refund or exchange.
  • All merchandise must be unwashed and unworn, with the original packaging and hang tags attached.
  • Items with scratches, pilling, cut, rips or covered with animal/human air, glitter, powder, stains, dirt, deodorant stains, skin cells, with a smell like deodorant, cologne, body odour, laundry detergent, smoke, etc… will be refused, no exception.
  • *Items Ineligible for a return include:
    • Underwear, socks, water bottles or shakers for hygiene reasons - no exceptions.
    • Stickers, Decals.
    • Items marked as Final Sale.
    • Items bought during a Sale such as Black Friday, Boxing Day, Yearly Summer Sale or any other clearance sale are considered final and cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged.
    • Items bought during a Rise Live Event, Fitness Expo, Pop-up shops cannot be returned or refunded.
    • Gift Cards purchased are considered “Final Sale” and cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances.
       
  • You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • Rise is not responsible for lost returned packages in transit to our warehouse.
  • If you received free shipping and your order value after your return is below the Free Shipping qualifying spending amount, we will deduct the original shipping charges encountered from your refund or credit.
  • It may take up to 7 business days to process your return. Once your return has been inspected, we will email you to notify you regarding the status of your return.

Final Sale

  • All items marked as Final Sale cannot be exchanged or refunded, as we won’t restock them. The quality of these products respects Rise’s standards, we are just creating a place on the shelves for upcoming releases. Items on Final Sale will be marked accordingly on their respective page.
  • Gift Cards purchased are considered Final Sale and cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances.

Extended Return Window (Nov 01 - Dec 23)

If you made a purchase between November 1 and December 25, good news, you have 60 days to exchange your item. Please refer to our Return and Exchanges Policy for more details.
 

Refunds

Once we receive your returned item and confirm your eligibility for a refund, we will process the refund within 14 business days to the original payment method.
For orders paid using a combination of Gift Card(s) and another payment method, refunds will be applied to the Gift Card(s) first. Any remaining balance will be refunded to the other payment method originally used. Shipping fees are non-refundable. If you received free shipping and your order value after your return is below the Free Shipping qualifying spending amount, we will deduct the original shipping charges encountered from your refund or credit.

Deduction of Promotional Value

Minimum spend amount promotion

Where a qualifying spend has been granted in relation receiving free shipping, special discounts or a specific promotion and after your return to us brings the amount spent below any qualifying level, you will forfeit the promotional benefit and the offer value will be deducted from the refund amount.
 

Product Bundle or Specific Buy X Receive Y Promotion

Both the Promotion Product and/or Eligible Product must be returned in order to receive a full refund. If the Promotion is missing, partially returned, not returned, has been redeemed or you are not qualifying to receive the promotion after returning products, the full original value of the Promotion Product will be deducted from the exchange or refund value of the Eligible Product. If the Eligible Product is not returned, special offer pricing will not apply and you will be charged the current full price of the Eligible Product.



Warranty

All Rise products come with a 30-day Limited Warranty against defective materials or faulty workmanship, starting from the original date of purchase. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, or neglect.
If you submit a claim under this warranty, Rise will either repair or replace the product at its own discretion. You will be required to furnish proof of purchase details and relative information when making a claim under this warranty.
 

Extended one-year warranty

Rise Lever Belts have an extended one-year warranty on the Metal Lever Buckle, which means only this part is covered within the additional extended warranty window. If a claim is open after the 30-day limited warranty offered by Rise, the shipping fees to send a Metal Lever Buckle replacement will have to be covered by you.
 

Limitation of Liability

Training can result in serious or fatal injury. Rise Lifting Gear products or any products offered by Rise will not eliminate all injuries. However, it can reduce their severity in some instances. Risk of injury can be diminished by using safe techniques. Do not exercise without proper instruction, supervision, or without having consulted a physician first. While this product helps provide a degree of support/protection, it is not guaranteed to protect the user from injury. Rise cannot be held liable for personal injury or death suffered while wearing this product; the user of the equipment assumes all risks. Always inspect your product before using it. Should any defect be found, do not use the product.
 
Your use of our Products and Services is at your sole risk. The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranty or condition, express, implied or statutory. Rise does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. Rise does not warrant that the results that may be obtained from the use of our Products will be accurate or reliable. Rise is not responsible for any of your tax obligations or liabilities related to the use of Rise’s products. Rise does not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, product information, or other materials purchased or obtained by you through our platform will meet your expectations.
 

Links to Other Sites and to Rise Site

This site may include links to independent third-party websites ("Linked Sites"). These Linked Sites are provided solely for the convenience of our visitors. Rise does not control these Linked Sites and is not responsible for, nor does it endorse, the content, information, or materials found on them. You are responsible for making your own independent judgment regarding your interactions with these Linked Sites.

 


Accounts, Passwords and Security

Certain features or services offered on or through Rise Platform may require you to open an account (including setting up delivery information, information to offer certain services and password). You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the information you hold for your account, including your password, and for any and all activity that occurs under your account as a result of your failing to keep this information secure and confidential. You agree to notify Rise immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or password, or any other breach of security. You may be held liable for losses incurred by Rise or any other user of or visitor to the Site due to someone else using your Rise Account, password or account as a result of you failing to keep your account information secure and confidential.
 

Electronic Communications

By using the Rise website, platform or retail location, you consent to receive electronic communications from Rise, either via email sent to the address on your account or through messages posted on the Platform. You acknowledge that these electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

You also agree that Rise may use and disclose your information in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

 

Trademarks

All trademarks, service marks, trade names, logos, and trade dress (collectively referred to as the "Marks"), whether registered or unregistered, displayed on the Platform are the property of Rise or their respective owners. You are not permitted to display or reproduce Rise's Marks without prior written consent from Rise. Additionally, you may not remove or alter any trademark notices from any content. The Marks are protected by trademark, trade dress, copyright, and various other intellectual property laws and unfair competition laws. Furthermore, all page headers, custom graphics, button icons, and scripts are trademarks, service marks, trade names, and/or trade dress of Rise or their respective owners. These elements may not be copied, imitated, or used, in whole or in part, without prior written permission from Rise.

 

Modifications to our Terms of Services

You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or services following the posting of any changes to these Terms of Service constitutes acceptance of those changes.
